The IF:Experience: Suzanne's Story
Good morning, lovelies!
Welcome to the next post in our series, the "IF:Experience"!
What's an IF:Experience?! It's what we want each and every one of you to have! We want you to take the leap with us, and leave IF:LOZ with a faith that is stronger; a heart that is on fire for Jesus and your community; and a deeper connections with women from all across your area!
Last week we met Kristi! If you haven't had a chance to read Kristi's IF:Experience, be sure to circle back after you read today's post!
Today we are introducing you to Suzanne! Suzanne is a beloved member of our IF:Community here at the Lake of the Ozarks, and we are so excited for you to hear how IF:Gathering has changed her heart and faith for the better! So, settle in with your cup of coffee and get ready to meet this extraordinary lady!
***Suzanne's Story***
1. How many IF: Gatherings have you attended? Two
2. Describe a meaningful moment from the last IF you attended? My most memorable moment is the table where I sat. It had my sister, Mom, friend and I met new ladies last year. I asked everyone at my table to help me pray over onesie that I had brought to IF, so my daughter could successfully have a baby. And everyone participated in praying over this small onesie to help my daughter out. And soon after, I found out my daughter was pregnant and now we have a new grandson. So, that moment at IF has stuck with me! Not only that moment, but now every time I see my grandson, Wilder. I love the worship music, and all the gals that attend. They are so nice to meet and pray with! It seems like we have a common goal.
3. Who is your favorite speaker? And why? I enjoy all the speakers! Every time I hear someone it helps me to be more Godly, and helps me learn to have a better relationship with Jesus. Jo Saxton is a favorite! Every time I hear her she seems to speak to me, and I understand her well, plus she is very funny! I just enjoy everyone that speaks to us, because I feel I learn from everyone that speaks at IF: Gathering, whether they are local or televised.
4. What is your favorite part of IF? My favorite part is the fellowship with other ladies in our community and listening to the speakers. I still like hearing local stories of how we are at the local: IF. Like how we got here and what we've been doing over the couple of years we have been doing this.
5. When you invite a friend to IF what’s the most common word or phrase you used to describe IF? When I asked my friends and family to IF:, I tell them it’s an experience that stays with you at all times. My first IF: was very powerful for me, because I had just overcame kidney cancer. All the ladies at my table prayed for me and my family. I felt the love not only from my table, but everyone at the whole IF:Gathering. I also enjoyed the photo booth! I still stare at the photos, because it was me and my mom that went that time, and we had a great time together! She has come with me the last two years. I just tell them, it’s a great weekend to hang out with the ladies and you’ll really feel Jesus all around us.
I hope this helps, I truly believe in IF:Gathering.
